Intero expands into the Vietnamese community

Owners of the InteroNha Milpitas office, Dylan Nguyen and Steven Tran, opened a new commercial retail development, Vietnam Town, the largest Vietnamese Plaza in California. A grand opening event was held on June 18, 2011.

Dylan and Steven also plan to expand InteroNha Milpitas in the coming months to a second office, Intero Vietnam Town, which will be located within Vietnam Town at 909-990 Story Road in San Jose, CA. This office will be a state-of-the-art commercial business model, that will cater to an Asian market.

The Vietnam Town plaza grand opening had a variety of food, games for kids, jumpers, a dunking tank, lion dance and live entertainment. There were also many booths set up to support the community such as City programs for first time Home Buyers, NSP, HAFA, Home Path, Credit Consultant, Residential, Commercial Lenders, Attorney, and much more. President, Founder and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services, Gino Blefari, gave a speech and expressed the excitement about exposing this Intero Vietnam Town project and its future to all of Intero and their clients as well as the Vietnamese community.

With currently 10 agents on board, David and Melisa plan to grow their office to 40 agents by the end of the year.

David Bicknell spent many years in senior management positions within the consumer electronics industry, including Director of Merchandising and Operations for Fry’s Electronics and President of BlueAnt Wireless, Inc. Melisa Bicknell spent several years in Human Resources and Training with both a mortgage company and a high tech company, and most recently was a Realtor with the Intero office in Gilroy, CA.

Leading U.S. brokerage announces new offices in El Dorado Hills, CA, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Scottsdale, AZ

SILICON VALLEY, CA – June 13, 2011 — Intero Franchise Services, Inc. announced its continued expansion with the launch of Intero Rancho Cucamonga and the upcoming launch of Intero El Dorado Hills at the end of June and Intero Scottsdale later this summer.

The Rancho Cucamonga office will operate under the leadership of co-owners Danny Morel and Omar Morel. With roots in real estate coaching, this brother-team is in alignment with the Intero® coaching program.

Leading brokerage company reaches agreement with Metro Homes

Cupertino, California – (May 13, 2011) – Intero International Franchise Services, LLC, announced that is has expanded its network in the Asia-Pacific region through a marketing agreement with Metro Homes, one of the largest estate agency firms in Malaysia with 13 offices throughout the country.

Innovative brokerage company further expands national presence with the opening of the first Intero® Andare(sm) office in Texas

Silicon Valley, CA (February 24, 2011) – Intero Franchise Services, Inc. has signed a master franchise agreement in Texas with Avanti Capital Management (“Avanti”), a real estate investment group operating in the Houston metropolitan area.

Avanti will operate as a master franchise of the Intero Brand with an exclusive territory that encompasses the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. Avanti’s aggressive growth plans include, through an affiliate, opening its first company owned office located in West Ave, this spring. Short-Term Memory

As a real-estate broker/owner or sales manager it’s important to balance the requirements of self-assessment and reflection with the ability to dump your short-term memory.

This lesson is played out in virtually every part of our lives; parenting, friendship, business, sports, etc. In a sports context, you’ve heard quarterbacks during their post-game conference recount a fumble, interception or a missed pass to a wide-open receiver, refer to their “forgetting quickly” as the key to overcoming the adversity and leading their team to victory.

Major League Baseball pitchers share their mental perspective after a bad pitch that resulted in a multi-base hit or home run and typically refer to their ability to “leave it behind them” as the key to being able to get back on the mound, assess the next batter and serve up strikes to get themselves out of a bad inning. In fact, last month I had an opportunity to listen to Major League Baseball pitcher Dallas Braden present to a small group of Realtors. In May of 2010, Dallas accomplished something that had only been done 19 times in the entire HISTORY of Major League Baseball. Dallas threw a perfect game; no walks, hits, runs or errors (watch the final 2 outs of that game here). Dallas talked about the mental discipline he’s established to be able to forget each pitch as it leaves his hand, talk about dumping the short term memory!

No matter the playing field, sports, business, parenting, or friendship, to get to the top you have to be self-aware and assess progress on your own terms. Sure, it’s valuable to get other peoples’ feedback and to have accountability partners and coaches but let’s face it, part of the reason we’ve accomplished success in life is that we’re our own worst critic! And while that’s a characteristic that’s propelled our success, it can also hold us back from growing and accomplishing our bigger goals.

The human condition is rooted in the principle of accomplishment, by nature we don’t want to do things that we’re not good at or put ourselves in a position to fail. The problem with too much self-assessment and second guessing is that we compound mistakes and tell ourselves that we need to “stay put” and not stretch for a bigger goal.

By committing to maintain a “right now” focus and develop a short-term memory for things that we’ve done we’re devoting ourselves to the future. To constantly relive a bad sales meeting, or a conversation with an Agent that didn’t go the way you wanted it to, second guess a decision to hire someone or make a change to your compensation policy is to rehash the past and minimize the pursuit of our bigger goals. When the pitch is thrown, forget it, let’s get on to the next one!!
